~ Business Leader of the Year ~
Florida Atlantic University’s College of Business will host the 25th annual Business Leader of the Year breakfast on Friday, January 27th, at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, 501 East Camino Real, Boca Raton. 7:00 AM Networking, 8:00-10:00 AM Breakfast and Program.
This year’s program celebrates the accomplishments of Heiko Dobrikow, Executive Vice President at The Las Olas Company, General Manager of the Riverside Hotel and Chairman of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce.
Started in 1991, the FAU Business Leader of the Year award celebrates the extraordinary accomplishments of Florida leaders and their impact on the overall business environment. Honorees are selected for their excellence in leadership, vision, innovation, knowledge and experience, transparency and social responsibility.

2017 Theatre Night ~ with SITE
Presented by Site | Florida & Caribbean (a chapter of the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence) on Friday, February 17th at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Join Incentive Industry Leaders at this Hosted Buyer night at the theater. SITE has bought out the Lan & Tan Airlines Club Level for the performance of "Michael Carbonaro Live". From his hit television series “The Carbonaro Effect” on truTV, magician Michael Carbonaro brings his signature blend of bizarre antics, audience interaction, hilarious video clips, and mind-blowing magic, live on stage! The night includes complimentary valet parking and a private pre-theater reception. This Hosted Buyer Event is limited to just 70 attendees. ~ D-TOUR, a Global Tourism Summit ~
The Eric Friedheim Tourism Institute (EFTI) (housed within the Department of Tourism, Recreation and Sport Management at the University of Florida) will host D-TOUR, a Global Tourism Summit at the BoardWalk Inn at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Wednesday-Thursday, April 26-27, 2017.
Addressing the transformation and disruption of the global tourism industry, and how to lead in this new environment, will top the timely agenda. With a focus on seeking answers to global issues, the Summit is open to the tourism industry as well as to businesses that rely on tourism.
